Volunteering

Richmond Animal Protection is always in need of hard-working, dedicated, loving volunteers to work at the shelter or to assist us with fundraising. The only way we can continue to save these precious little lives is with the help of animal-loving people. Our volunteers work in shifts to care for our cats and to keep the shelter a clean, comfortable environment. We also need people to drive to our feeding stations and care for the cats at those sites.

If you live in the Vancouver area and would like to join us, please call Carol at 604-275-2036.

Please spay and neuter your cats!

Many kittens like this one are plagued with illness, homelessness and starvation because so many people have neglected to alter their pets.

Our organization exists because of the tragic cat overpopulation problem. We must work together to eliminate it. Here in Richmond, B.C., we convinced our city council to enact a spay/neuter bylaw making it an offence to have unfixed cats loose on city streets.

Too many cats and kittens die each year- spaying or neutering your cat can make a huge difference.
